Features
- High transmission for the visible wavelength range
- Highly reflective for infrared
Cold mirrors are used to reflect visible light and remove heat through transmission. They should preferably be operated at an angle of incidence of 45°. The most common wavelength range for transmission through the cold mirror is 800 nm – 1200 nm. The average transmission range is T > 85%. In addition, R > 95% for 400 nm – 700 nm.
