The participants \u00a0had run the course once before, last year, in the rain.<\/p>\n         \n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n\n\n \n<section class=\"textblock blockquote anim anim-top\" >\n    <div class=\"container\">\n      <div class=\"text-wrap\">\n\t\t  <h2 class=\"subline\">I remember running in the rain and thinking, why am I doing this again. It probably wouldn&#8217;t have mattered either way. Some dates just don&#8217;t get skipped.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are laser&#8221; has been our line for a while now, and on most days it describes someone bent over an optical bench, running the same alignment check a second time because the first result looked half a degree off. Steady hands. People catching what someone else missed.
