In the environmental domain, we focus in particular on energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, and waste prevention.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/h2>              \n                          <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n\n\n \n  <section class=\"two-columns even layout-2 anim anim-top\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <h3>Efficient use of Resources <\/h3><\/div>\n    <div class=\"container\">      \n      <div class=\"col-2\">\n            <div class=\"text-wrap\">\n              <p><p>We monitor selected energy and resource consumption data and implement improvement measures based on the insights gained.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">IMM Photonics\u2019 total calculated greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and Scope 2 amounted to 62 t CO\u2082e in 2024. Compared with the 2023 baseline year, this represents a reduction of more than 27%. In 2023, these emissions were already more than 45% lower than in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/p>        \n        \n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"col-2\">\n         <div class=\"text-wrap\">\n              <p><p>When further developing our processes, we consider factors such as energy consumption, resource use, waste prevention, and operational environmental impacts. Product longevity is one of the aspects considered within our development processes.<\/p>\n<\/p>        \n        \n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n  \n  \n  \n\n \n<section class=\"two-columns even teaser anim anim-top  \" >\n    <div class=\"container\">\n      <div class=\"col-2\">\n          <div class=\"img-wrap\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/imm-photonics.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMM-PHOTONICS-GMBH_Nachhaltigkeit-EcoVadis_2026.png');\">\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"col-2 \">\n            <div class=\"text-wrap\">\n              <h2><strong>Achieved So Far<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>In 2026, IMM Photonics received the <a href=\"https:\/\/recognition.ecovadis.com\/DOQSuOxxdkuFe21cqB-qnw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bronze award<\/a> for sustainability management in the EcoVadis rating. The rating applies to the company and does not constitute certification of individual products or services. Recertification in the first quarter of 2027<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Outfit, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Based on our greenhouse gas accounting, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions across the entire company amounted to 62 t CO\u2082e in 2024, which was 27% lower than in 2023<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Electricity from 100% renewable energy sources at the Teisnach production site (effective July 1, 2023)<\/li>\n<li>We use LED lighting at both locations. In select manufacturing processes, mercury vapor lamps have been replaced with UV LED technology.
